Henna

I absolutely loved our henna unit. I was so excited and had been thinking for a long time about what I wanted to do. This is great for multicultural or social studies lessons.

Here is Dr. Dan showing us how to mix the henna and add a little bit of lemon juice to make it moist.

This is Dr. Dan's work of art- on my foot! How often is it that your teacher gives you a really cool tattoo? Best class ever.  After it became dry to the touch we put a mixture of lemon juice and sugar on top to keep it from cracking.
